    Thirty minutes on the stack, the gap, and how your team works. You get a day rate and a profile in writing.

    Meet the engineer

    You interview the actual person, not a composite CV. If it is not a fit, we say so and stop there.

  3. 03

    Embed

    Access sorted, first tickets in week one. The engineer joins your ceremonies and ships inside your workflow.

  4. 04

    Review and scale

    A standing check-in on output and fit. Extend, add a second engineer, or wind down with notice. Your call.

Staff augmentation questions

What does staff augmentation cost?

A day rate, set by skill and seniority, stated in the proposal before you commit. No recruitment fees, no employer overheads, no margin hidden in a project price.

How quickly can an engineer start?

Typically days to a couple of weeks, depending on your onboarding and access process. Compare that with a three-month recruitment cycle and the difference is the point.

How is this different from outsourcing a project?

Control. In augmentation you direct the work inside your own process and keep the knowledge in your team. Outsourcing hands a scope to a vendor and gets a deliverable back. Both are valid; they solve different problems.

How long are engagements, and what is the notice period?

Rolling engagements with a notice period agreed up front, typically measured in weeks. Short trials are welcome: the fastest way to judge a senior engineer is two weeks of real tickets.

How does the contract work? What about IR35?

You contract with Tech Studio Ltd, company to company: we supply an engineering service, not a payroll worker. We are happy to walk through the working arrangement with your legal or finance people as part of scoping.

Remote or on-site?

Remote-first, working your hours, with on-site days by arrangement. UK and Brazil time zones are covered as standard.
